Honda will begin serial production of a new electric crossover

Honda this spring introduced the concept of the electric crossover, assembled on the basis of HR-the company has recently implemented a project, and for the joint release of VE-1 signed a contract with the GAC Group. Sales of new items will start in China, and yet one of the copies is shown in Guangzhou.

Inside the VE-1 battery installed at 53.6 kW, thanks to which the crossover overcomes a distance of 340 km on a single charge. Engine power is 163 HP.

In the production of VE-1 will be invested $ 500 million. The money will be invested in the construction of a new plant, which is capable of producing 170 thousand cars per year.
