Deceptive softness of ceramics

Constance Guisset has created plates that look like they're made of inflated rubber. And they resemble soft cakes. In fact, the products of the French designer are made of very strong and dense ceramics. The collection called Canova is designed for the Moustache brand. Each of the presented plates is available in several colors and sizes.

To create objects of such an interesting shape, the masters sculpted them by hand. Due to the combination of the texture of the material and shades creates the illusion of unusual smoothness. Thus, the utensil is transformed into a spectacular art objects.
