Kirsten Flipkens, a tennis player from Belgium, was fined for crossing the border with Holland.

“I chose a route of 130 kilometers,” Het Laatste Nieuws quotes Flipkens. “Having passed through a small forest, I found myself on the road leading to Holland. I immediately started looking for the way back, but was stopped by the police. I was not allowed to explain and they immediately wrote out a fine. There were no signs on my way. Yes, I was mistaken, but the warnings from the police would have seemed more logical."

The eleventh "racket" of the world during a bike ride accidentally crossed the border and was stopped by police. The athlete was fined 250 euros.

At the moment, the tennis player takes 77th place in the world qualification.
