The standard metal roof is replaced by a lifting top made of fiberglass reinforced plastic, inside it is finished with fabric. In a raised state, it provides a height in the cabin of up to 2 m. The resulting opening can be reinforced with a special aluminum frame. In this case, the stiffness of the body does not change.
Three sleeping places can be arranged inside the camper — a double bed on the upper level (1950x1255 mm) and a bed on the lower level (1900x1460 mm). The latter is obtained by folding two passenger seats.
UAZ "Baikal" is equipped with plastic windows, a mosquito net for a lifting tent, modular furniture made of lightweight plywood laminated with plastic. There is also a kitchen with a portable refrigerator and built-in sink, countertop, pull-out shelves, wardrobe.
On the technical side, the camper is equipped with a basic 112-horsepower 2.7-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, a 5-speed manual gearbox, and all-wheel drive.
