Boeing is testing ground-based drone designed for the Australian Air Force. This is the first aircraft of its kind in the past 50 years with artificial intelligence technology.

Currently, the Boeing Loyal Wingman drone is undergoing ground tests in Australia. The first test flight is scheduled for the end of 2020. This is stated in the message of the Australian division of Boeing.

The technology of artificial intelligence, according to developers, will completely abandon remote control systems.

It is noted that the length of the UAV will be 11.5 m. The estimated distance that he will be able to cover will be approximately 3.7 thousand km.

Other details of the project have not been disclosed.
