The robot dog has become an indispensable assistant in one of the parks in Singapore, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio. Over the next two weeks there will be testing devices that will monitor the distance between people during quarantine.

Boston Dynamics' four-legged Spot dog robots will not only patrol the park, reminding visitors of a safe distance. They will broadcast a pre-recorded message that you need to stay at a distance of 1.5-2 meters, inform The Verge.

Local authorities took this step in order to reduce the number of employees involved in patrolling public places.

Dog robots are equipped with video cameras that record the presence of a safe/dangerous distance between visitors to the park and their number. According to the Singapore National Parks Council, personal data will not be recorded.

Recently, through the joint efforts of scientists from the University of Maryland, York University in Canada and the Pamoja Public Organization in Kenya, DIY device system. It allows people with disabilities to communicate by touching images on an attached surface.
