In a cardboard box, everyone sees something of their own. Some use it as a storage container, for cats it is an excellent house, and the Japanese artist Monomi Ono considers it an ideal material for her incredible 3D sculptures.

It all started when she studied at Osaka University of the Arts. It was then that Monomi Ono decided to choose 3D animation as the main educational area. But to get the necessary software for this, you need to lay out a tidy sum. And so as not to spend that kind of money, the girl decided to use a pile of empty cardboard boxes from under orders from Amazon as a material for honing 3D modeling skills.

What was conceived as an educational practice turned into cardboard art. Empty boxes have become universal matter, which the Japanese can turn into anything, and this is not a figure of speech. Tanks, guns, characters of pop culture, and even food - all from her cardboard!
