Chinese automaker BYD Auto presented a fully electric bus that is 27 meters long and can carry up to 250 passengers.
The K12A was introduced at BYD Auto's headquarters in Shenzhen, China. This model was developed for high-speed bus transport systems (Bus Rapid Transport (BRT)).
The K12A is 27 meters long and is the longest all-electric bus in the world; It is capable of carrying up to 250 passengers. Reportedly, the car can switch between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, has a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour and a power reserve of approximately 300 kilometers.
BYD Auto has been manufacturing electric buses for a relatively long time. According to the company, it has already delivered to global partners in total more than 50,000 of its electric buses.
