Sand sculpture is always striking in its fragility. Although many masters just focus on the fleetingness of this art form. Their works can not be enjoyed for long: after all, water and wind do their job.

Sand sculptors spend tons of material and hours, and sometimes days, to complete their work. They carefully approach the creation of every detail. Sometimes using unusual tools for this, writes Piximus.

The creation of sand sculptures has become popular in recent years, especially in coastal areas. Hundreds of competitions are held around the world, where many talented sculptors show their skills.

Often in such competitions, it is required that the finished sculpture be sprayed with a stabilizing coating. This saves the finished structure and allows the work to be properly evaluated by the judges. Fixed sculptures can stand for months.

A similar hobby for the creation of an Italian artist David Furlani. He collects stones brought to the coast, and creates from them sculptures. Recently, he began to transfer them to wooden surfaces, previously covered with a layer of glue.
