Designer Ashley Darryl refreshed her friend Jeremy Globerson’s one-room apartment in Manhattan with a minimalist style and carefully selected accents.

The designer, along with the owner, chose a mixture of vintage design and new stylish design to create a minimalistic and attractive space that both aspired to. So he turned to his good friend Ashley Darryl, an interior designer who also helped shape his previous apartment.

“Ashley really understood my aesthetics and was familiar with my existing works, which made it easier to use them in a new place,” Globerson says.

Since the one-bedroom apartment is smaller than his former home, Globerson and the designer focused on finding clean details that would give the rooms a minimalist but attractive look. Working with friends is not easy, but when it came to repairing and decorating his new 60-square-meter Manhattan apartment. Jeremy Globerson knew that he needed an ally.

“Aesthetics makes up for the lack of space,” says the owner of the apartment. - “I found that living with less is actually free. I like to be forced to keep my lifestyle minimal.” The designer was also excited about the problem of small space. “We chose special pieces of furniture because there were often several people in each room,” she says.
