This luxurious villa with an original facade in the form of geometric figures, located on the rocks, has become a real gem among the works of the architectural bureau Cadaval & Sola-Morales.

Residence "Sunflower" (Sunflower House) is built in such a way that the sun's rays can penetrate into the house throughout the daylight hours.

On the hillside of the peninsula of La Costa Brava is an impressive and unusual residence. Visually, the two-story mansion looks like a pile of ten cubic figures.

Cadaval & Sola-Morales - a Spanish-Mexican architectural studio - has created this two-story house with panoramic views for couples. The house is located near the town of Port de la Selva in the province of Girona.

The owners wanted their home to have the maximum number of species on the coast. Architects solved this problem by combining small volumes deployed in different directions. Each of the ten cubes has its own look. Moving from one to another, you can make a general panorama.

The second important task was to protect the house from the harsh north wind, which is called tramontana here - its speed at this point of the peninsula can reach 180 km / h. For protection, glass units were installed in the house, which are usually used in the construction of skyscrapers.

The entire interior of the residence is decorated in soothing monochrome colors. All materials used in the construction and decoration, with the exception of reinforced double-glazed windows, are typical of this area. This makes the building more environmentally friendly.
