Aston Martin will add electric motors to classic models

The future brings with it changes that will affect the owners of classic cars. This applies to restrictions related to environmental regulations. Aston Martin presented an interesting project-the concept of Heritage EV, equipped with an electric motor, but at the same time containing an internal combustion engine.

The idea is to add an electrical power unit to the vehicle, packaged as a cassette and installed with the original vehicle mounts. Thus, the introduction of new environmental standards will not be able to drive classical models from the international market. The experience gained during the development of the electric Rapide was used to create the cassette project.
