Google has introduced new tools for users to help them stay on top of their sleep patterns. The novelty was called Bedtime Mode and is aimed at combating insomnia.

Bedtime Mode, installed on Android, will reduce the brightness of the screen, will prohibit the reception of calls and notifications at the set time. The tools will also affect the operation of the alarm — in the morning the display will gradually increase in brightness and simulate sunlight, writes The next web.

Users set up a toolbox on their own. As a rule, it depends on their daily routine.

The reason for creating Bedtime Mode was the increasing demand from users about how to deal with insomnia on self-isolation. According to the company, coronavirus and related restrictions have affected the sleep patterns of tens of thousands of people around the world.

“Too many sleepless nights can exacerbate both physical and mental health problems,” the scientists noted.

Recently, Google introduced the new user interface, which allows you to control the electronics through the manipulation of the cord from the headphones.
