The PlayStation 5 game console was supposed to be presented in June 2020. But due to the riots in the United States, she was postponed indefinitely.
Sony representatives issued an official announcement on the postponement of the presentation of their new gaming console. The main reason for this was called the riots in the United States, caused by the protests of the population against the police after the murder of black American George Floyd in Minneapolis, the company said on its official Twitter page.
“We decided to postpone the PlayStation 5 event scheduled for June 4th. We understand the desire of players around the world to see PS5 games, but we believe that this is not the right time to celebrate,” the company said.
Recently, the international company Sega announced the re-release of the
game console Game Gear. The announced novelty will be released without cartridges, it will be less in comparison with its predecessor, and classic games will already be pre-installed.
