In Transcarpathia, border guards detained a Romanian citizen who grazed a flock of sheep and did not notice how he crossed the border and ended up in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
According to border guards, the man had no documents with him and explained that he crossed the state border by accident.
“The border guards informed the Romanian colleagues about this fact and subsequently, through readmission, transferred the grief shepherd and the herd of sheep to the Romanian border guards,” the report says.
Given the nomadic nature of grazing sheep, shepherds often ride horses accompanied by guard dogs. Previously, their life was quite difficult, always in the steppe, in the sunshine or in the winter in a nightmare with vigilant supervision of the sheep so that they were not covered by snow, and were not attacked by wolves or cattle raiders.
