Dutch graphic designer Ard Gelinck makes time travel possible. At least for celebrities. Gelink creates photo montages of famous people as if they were hanging out with their young personalities, and the result is simply excellent.

“About 5 years ago, I edited photos for many Dutch celebrities, and I succeeded, so I started working with photos of foreign celebrities. The first was Madonna, and she even posted my image on her Instagram.”

The queen of pop, however, is not the only celebrity who publicly admired his work. Rob Lowe, Tina Turner, Jason Priestley, Sylvester Stallone, Robbie Williams, Michael Douglas and many others also gave him approval.

“When I think about it, the list is impressive,” Gelink says. When the Photoshop master takes pictures, he often tries to make the object and his other personality hug each other, or at least the hand of one was on the shoulder of the other.

“The actual posture depends on many things. I’m trying to find one where they stand next to each other.”
