The Italian artist Riccardo Zangelmi, who is a certified Lego specialist in creating art objects from a popular designer, presented a full-size model of the Italian superbike Ducati Panigale V4 R.

Based on a real motorcycle, Zangelmi used elements from Lego Technic kits that he worked with for the first time to create an exact copy of the superbike fairings. It took more than 400 hours to work, during which the motorcycle model was completely disassembled and assembled again again 8 times.

In order to work out the design of the model from Lego, no programs were used - Riccardo, focusing on the real Ducati Panigale V4 R, created the model by eye and adjusted it in accordance with the prototype.

In total, the construction of the motorcycle took 15,000 parts of red, black and light gray colors, which are fastened to each other exclusively using standard fasteners - no glue was used for assembly. As stated, the number of Lego Technic parts purchased would be enough to fill a standard pool.

The presentation of the finished Lego model, which was held on the basis of Ducati in the Italian Borgo Panigale, was attended by the head of the motorcycle manufacturer Claudio Domenicali, as well as the driver of the factory team Mission Winnow Ducati Team in MotoGP Italian Andrea Dovitsio, who is also a big fan of Lego. The motorcycle, whose mass is 180 kg (the base Ducati Panigale V4 R weighs 165 kg), is fully functional, since only external panels are made of the designer elements.
