Carnivorous plants from around the world are collected in the Carnivorous collection of photographs prepared by Swedish photographer Helena Schmitz. In her project, she considers the details of plants, focusing on hunting functions.

A series of photographs depicts some of the 630 species of flora that catch and digest insects. In the collection of Helena Schmitz there is a plant from the genus Nepentes, Sarraceniya purple and yellow, Rosyanka, Darlingtonia and many others, informs Zagge.

The Swede admires the unusual functions of carnivorous plants. To catch prey, they float leaves in the form of water lilies, sticky traps, closing and sucking flowers.

For example, a venus flytrap is a hunt for flies. She catches them with a special trapping apparatus with trigger hairs on the surface of the leaves. This is one of the few species of carnivorous plants that are found around the world.

Recently, a Polish photographer showed the beauty of big cities in black and white. On his photographs are found silhouettes of such multi-million cities as Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, Paris, Tokyo, Toronto, Seoul, London, Montreal, etc.
