The iconic SUV Land Rover Defender equipped with a tent
Land Rover Defender received a tent as a factory option. This innovation has complemented the configuration of an SUV since 2020.
The accessory was created by Autohome. It is mounted on standard mounts and provides the possibility of a sleeping place for two with a length of 2.3 m, a width of 1.3 m and a height of 1.5 m. The fabric awning is located under a fiberglass cover and, when laid out, closes the mattress with two pillows, writes "Popular Mechanics."
To access the tent, the kit comes with a folding aluminum ladder, which can be installed on any of the three sides of the machine.
Recall, the official presentation of the car took place in 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The SUV lost its frame and bridges, retained two body options, but did not lose its potential.
