Stunning views and maritime accents — model duplex on the south coast of China (Photo)

Duplex apartment located in Zhuhai, China. The project, named Zhuhai Yanlord Marina Center, was created by TK Chu Design.

The duplex is located right on the Zhuhai coastline, offering breathtaking views of the Macau Ocean and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The ocean serves as the main axis along which the external architectural curve of the center of the object fluctuates like a wave, and the “splashes” in the interior create an absolute dream, combining the exterior with the interior.

Ernest Hemingway’s book “The Old Man and the Sea” shows people the power of life in the face of death, while TK Chu Design’s apartment design focuses on children and the sea because of the effects of life, warmth and hope.

The artistic device hanging on the wall, the rhythm of sea water under the sun, gentle but fast, along with the bend of the entire cosmic structure, reflects the ever-changing surface of the sea, bearing the same line with architecture. A carpet is a tangible representation of the waves caressing the beach as you sit on the ground looking at the sparkling waves.

The “soap bubble” by artist Zhang Golyan, depicting a childhood of unconditional happiness, dreamily extends to the sculpture below while swimming in the air. On the stairs, works of art give space a warm and childish breath, so every visitor can experience a subtle sense of cleanliness and pure happiness. “Those who wish to enter this space can gain the power of hope and courage,” explains TK Chu Design.
