Samsung is entering the sterilizing market. She begins the release of ultraviolet boxes in Thailand.

The sterilizer box is large enough to fit even the largest smartphones of the latest models. In addition, it will be possible to put small objects into it. For example, sunglasses or headphones are reported on the company's website.

The manufacturer notes that the sterilizer box will “attack” the smartphone for 10 minutes. This will be enough to destroy 99% of the germs. The new device will be able to charge a smartphone via a wireless network even if the UV light goes out. Allegedly, it will also charge the Galaxy Buds + or any Qi-compatible device.

Estimated cost of new items will be about $ 50/1590 baht. But it is still unknown whether the accessory will be produced outside of Thailand or not.

Samsung previously launched the app Health Monitor in South Korea. It allows you to track blood pressure for a smart watch Galaxy Watch Active 2.
