Designers created a stylish loft in the north of Ibiza (Photo)

The loft-style house is located in a remote mountain field in the steep north of Ibiza, which was abandoned and served as a workshop and warehouse, and now has become a modern dream home.

As soon as the architect saw the structure and location of the house, he reflected on the design concept. The concrete columns and steel beams of the former warehouse caught a glimpse of the typical rustic ceiling, which, combined with the industrial structure, formed a concept for the rest of the design: an interesting game and the contrast between the rustic and industrial.

The project was named Campo Loft, which basically means "industrial open space in the countryside." The beautiful structure of the traditional building has been preserved to preserve the character of the typical architecture of the region of the Spanish island of Ibiza.

The main and local materials that were used: concrete floor, stone walls plastered with chalk and mud, and "juniper beams" from trees that grow only on the island. The new material that was included in the house is steel.

Powder-coated steel is used for window and door frames, and a custom-made kitchen is made from raw steel. The building was not used for many years and was in very poor condition.
