BMW Motorrad and Bosch will mass-produce motorcycles with adaptive cruise control. It will help to control distance and speed, as well as monitor the deceleration and acceleration during movement.

The speed of the motorcycle will be set independently, and the distance can be selected from three available options. The degree of acceleration and deceleration will also be available in two versions — comfortable and dynamic, according to the website of the unit.

Cruise control for motorcycles will take into account the specifics of their movement relative to the roadway. Electronics captures changes in the angle between the vehicle and the road, resetting to safe.

According to the company's specialists, motorcycle cruise control is not able to slow down in front of traffic lights and other obstacles. Therefore, the responsibility lies with the driver. It can also interfere with the acceleration or braking process by deactivating the electronics in an emergency.

Earlier, the English manufacturer of prestigious cars Aston Martin tested its 180- strong superbike. The motorcycle was created in collaboration with Brough Superior.
