Samsung spoke in detail about the functionality of its new product — Galaxy Watch 3. The corresponding application has already appeared in the Play Store, which shows gestures that turn off the alarm clock, take a picture or help answer an incoming call.

Hand gestures allow users to mute alarms and answer incoming calls. For example, rotating your wrist while wearing the gadget allows you to turn off audible alarms and drop incoming calls. Clenching and unclenching a fist — answering a call. To create a new photo or video, it is also enough to carry out this manipulation with the palm. But here you will also need an additional application — Camera Controller, according to the XDA Developers Forum.

It is noted that the Galaxy Watch 3 will have 47 watch faces. The owner of the watch will be able to move between them automatically. Also, the gadget will be equipped with versions of both LTE and Wi-Fi, and it will come with 1.4 and 1.2-inch displays.

The Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to have a stainless steel case, GPS, heart rate and blood pressure monitors, an ECG sensor, as well as 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 247mAh or 340mAh battery, depending on size.

The Galaxy Unpacked event is officially scheduled for August 5th.

Last month it was reported that Samsung will release Health Monitor application. It will track blood pressure for the Galaxy Watch Active 2. The new feature is coming ahead of schedule and will be released in the third quarter of this year.
