An art project by Australian artist Diana Marie is 100 drawings of bright birds on pieces of wood. She launched it literally after the first brushstroke.
She was portrayed daily by one feathered beauty found in Australia. And so for 100 days. For the work, cuts of natural wood and deep shades of gouache were used, the girl writes in her Instagram account.
According to the artist, her art project arose out of a great love for birds and fine arts. She was so carried away by their demeanor, colors, that she decided to depict several of them first. Diana took her
large drawing set and began to create. The first portrait was followed by the second, third.
The results of her work amazed not only nature lovers, but also connoisseurs of contemporary art. Unusual bird pictures literally scattered all over the world.
The animal theme in her work is also supported by an artist from Shlisselburg, Leningrad Region, about whom I wrote earlier. She creates
decorative plates, which resemble cats curled up in a ball.
