Miniature pottery is a lifelong work of Spanish American John Almed. He makes vases, teapots and figurines that are easy to place on a coin or fingertip.

Despite the miniature size, the master's ceramics are created taking into account all standard technological stages. All products are carefully worked out and repeat the shape of similar items. Moreover, this begins with the creation of a sketch, and ends with the firing of the finished ceramic product.

John Almeda uses a miniature ceramic wheel in his work. A special hammer is installed in it, which helps to accurately track the formation of each stage. All devices for work due to their size, the potter can carry anywhere. It happened that he worked on vacation near the sea, at the station while waiting for the train, at exhibitions.

According to the master, the miniature size of his ceramics does not distract, but on the contrary allows him to concentrate even more on the process. This is especially true for compliance with all details and proportions.

Earlier, OXO spoke about the forms of Chinese vases. Experts identify four options: plum, pear-shaped, square vases, and double pumpkins.
