A master from Italy, a former musician, Leonardo Frigo, decorates stringed musical instruments in an unusual way. He paints violins and cello in black ink.

On the base of the instruments, Leonardo Frigo applies ornate patterns and inscriptions. On them you can find all kinds of floral and geometric ornaments. For example, on violins the master often draws flowers with large petals, mythical animals, characters from classical works.

Painting a musical instrument is preceded by a long preparation. The Italian first creates a sketch of the future image, prepares ink with feathers, paper napkins. The wizard first checks the quality of the toolkit: a certain black shade of ink, nibs with different nib thickness.

The hobby of Leonardo Frigo did not just happen. This young man has been playing the violin for five years. And the desire to paint musical instruments that were so similar to each other had been ripening for a long time.

According to the Italian master, every cello and violin should be "individuals". And his painting helps them in this.
