The quilling technique is used in her work by the artist Vesna Rikic from Bosnia and Herzegovina. As an inspiration for her hobby, the girl uses the world around her.

Spring Rikits creates images of people, animals and birds. But recently she thought that she could aim at the classics. The artist tried to recreate Van Gogh's Starry Night. Thanks to the use of technology and quilling kit, her picture looks quite interesting.

The girl devoted more than one day of work to this creation. And the preparation took most of her time. She studied the original version of the work for a long time. Analyzed existing reproductions. I even read about the history of the painting. And only after that I decided to start work.

Vesna Rikits created a sketch and prepared materials. The difficulty was caused by the selection of the desired color scheme of the paper stripes. But still she managed to combine everything.

Recall that quilling is a technique for making flat or volumetric images from twisted paper. The paper is preliminarily cut into thin strips and rolled into spirals.
