The observation deck for observing the beauty of the northern lights was invented and realized by architects from Norway. The location of Ured Plassen was the coast of the Norwegian Sea.

A memorial was placed on the observation deck dedicated to the sailors who died in 1943, who were blown up by a German mine. Then on the submarine "Uredd" there were 42 people. It was this event that served as the main theme of the memorial and became part of its name.

The gazebo, made of concrete and glass, gradually "flows" into the asphalt path. She, merging with the landscape, becomes one of its constituent parts. Like each of the components of the memorial, this part of it harmoniously fits into the surrounding space. Including a well-thought-out bathroom with necessary fixtures.

The structure is located on a hill connected to the beach by concrete steps. Therefore, if desired, visitors to the memorial can immediately go down to the sea.

As for the monument itself to the sailors who sank in a submarine, red fausque marble was used for it. It is a local rock variety.
