Plexiglass suspended hoods are a new development of the French designer Christophe Gernigon. He designed these appliances specifically for use in restaurants.

Outwardly, cooker hoods by a French designer resemble transparent caps that hang over the tables of catering places. They sit over their clients' chairs. Christophe Gernigon decided to take this step in order to "welcome" the visitors after months of self-isolation.

It is noted that the designer wanted to find the line between aesthetics, elegance and the necessary distance in crowded places. According to his colleagues, Gernigon more than succeeded.

The designer chose Plexiglass for a reason. After all, this material is very practical to use, outwardly aesthetic and easily fits into diverse interiors.

Recall that plexiglass or organic glass is acrylic resin, synthetic vinyl polymer, transparent plastic with a high level of thermoplasticity. This material can be painted and tinted.
