The modular system with interchangeable stand feet was invented by the Heatherwick design team. The presentation of the novelty took place at an exhibition organized in London.

The system consists of wooden legs, on which any flat structure can be installed. It can be a countertop, a door, or just a stone panel.

Also, the legs can be used in the format of flower pots. This accompanying function is helped by a special form. Visually, it turns out that the furniture is decorated with plants.

The modular system is based on a principle developed by psychologists in the 1980s. According to it, the human brain is restored in just 40 seconds with the help of indoor plants. His activity of thought processes increases and concentration of attention increases.

The authors of the project report that their adaptation can be used for more practical purposes. You can mask the wiring or use the legs as storage space.

The principle of modular design was not chosen by the studio specialists by chance. The growing popularity, ease of use and the ability to integrate such pieces of furniture into various interiors are doing their job.
