Sculptures from broken ceramics are created by a resident of the Netherlands Bauke de Vries. He has been creative for many years and this type of recycling is his hobby.

Bauke de Vries gives a second life to seemingly hopeless objects from ceramics. He forms new plots from the fragments, turning them into works of art. The sculptor chooses for himself two approaches - filling glass vases and creating volumetric "images".

First, the Dutchman comes up with a future sketch of the sculpture. Then he selects ceramic items for him, which can be broken into pieces. Bauke creates a volumetric art object from them.

The sculptor's arsenal includes maps of the countries of the world, animals, plants, and even furniture. Of particular interest are externally simple, but complex in laying, glass vases with "fillers". There seems to be nothing complicated in them, but a master can spend up to several days to work on one art object.

Bauquet de Vries's work can be seen in galleries around the world. But the sculptor prefers private exhibitions to large-scale events. Places where he can answer questions about the technique of creating his sculptures.
