Sculptural compositions from colorful ribbons are created by two designers from Japan. They come up with and bring to reality various exhibits that are used as decoration at many events in the country.

The works of tape sculptors are real works of art. In a peculiar technique, they "collect" mythical characters, bouquets of flowers and abstract patterns. Finished art objects can be both decorative elements and independent sculptural compositions.

The chosen technique of the Japanese creative tandem is based on the ancient skill of weaving. To achieve success in their work, they had to study a lot of literature, try many ways of working with different types of ribbons. In the end, they settled on satin ribbons and mizuhiki elements.

The latter is understood as the ancient technique of creating cords, tying knots and laying out patterns from multi-colored threads. Rice paper is used as the main material, which is pre-starch to impart rigidity to the finished product.
