La Stanley: lamp from scrap materials

Parisian designer Claire Lavabre presented the lamp La Stanley, which was created within the project Lampade e altre progetti non finiti. This project, which studies kinetic effects and lighting, already exists for a long time. The device is made of a rim of the wheel, masonry, aluminium, electrical extension cord, glass tube. The fasteners used to support the cable, lighting components, and motorcycle motor screws are randomly selected. Claire Lavabre has set a goal to promote the Assembly of functional items not from ready-made sets, and selected from different individual elements.
