Ukrainian designer wins prestigious 2020 award for his toothbrush (Photo)

The toothbrush, invented by the Ukrainian designer Valery Kuznetsov, was awarded the prestigious Red Dot award. The jury members were surprised by her brevity and minimalism.

A designer commissioned by an American company created a series of hygiene products, which included other toothbrushes with stands. These are products with removable elements, asymmetrical bristles and metal details.

A feature of the project was that the author used different covers for his products. He stylized them as lamps, benches, chairs, tree leaves. Of course, they can be used without such pretentious stands, but Valery Kuznetsov does not recommend neglecting such “devices”.

As Valery Kuznetsov himself noted, his work is very environmentally friendly. They use much less plastic than conventional toothbrushes of this amount. The designer prefers wood and metal.

Receiving the aforementioned award is another proof of the skill of Ukrainian designers. And even if in such a seemingly insignificant project as the creation of toothbrushes.
