Paper wigs are cut out by the artist from St. Petersburg Asya Kozina. In them, women and girls resemble the closest crowned heads.

In the artist's works, everything is thought out to trifles - the volume of haircuts, the naturalness of curls, even decorations - all kinds of hairpins, ribbons or clips. As a rule, in each episode, Asya Kozina creates female and male versions. She recently tried cutting a paper wig for a baby.

The volume of such royal hairstyles is achieved through a special paper layering technology. First, Asya Kozina makes a base, sometimes even a cardboard one, and then "puts" white paper on it layer by layer. Having “collected” her hair, the girl proceeds to finishing the details.

Using an impressive set of scissors of various sizes, the artist first cuts through the silhouette of the future hairstyle. And only then does he move on to cutting curls, overlaying decorative details.

Relatively recently, the girl began work in a new direction. She was interested in oriental motives. Now, flowing loose strands, pendants on chains, side strands with beads have been added to the baroque wigs.
