Chinese developers presented a flying electric car
A Chinese startup company presented a flying car at the Beijing profile exhibition. It is a personal vehicle that can travel through the air.
The novelty is a lightweight drone with rechargeable batteries and propellers. The latter draws energy from the electric motor. This allows the aircraft to climb to a height of 25 m. As for the information on the flight speed and its range, it has not yet been disclosed.
According to the developers, work on a flying electric car started about seven years ago. During this time, they managed to carry out about 10 thousand flight tests. And, above all, the designers were interested in the safe movement of the drone.
During the testing, 15 technological solutions were implemented, patented by a Chinese startup. Nevertheless, the timing of the launch of the serial production of such drones has not yet been reported. At this stage, the designers, together with analysts, assess the prospects for investing in the mass release of the device to the market.
