Sculptures by American Dan Graber are on the verge of physics, psychology and mechanics. Some even try to call them steampunk sculptures, but the author himself is ready to argue with that.

Dan Greiber's works are glass domes with stones hidden under them. The latter, with the help of special mechanical devices, seem to float in the air.

The sculptor examines each of his works from three sides.

From the point of view of art, they are undoubtedly aesthetic. Glass, stone, metal, epoxy resin - an unusual combination that fascinates with its appearance.

Knowledge from physics provides the vertical position of the "filler". Here, its own weight comes into play, and the hover effect is created by mechanisms and a system of pulleys.

And psychology, thanks to which Graber views his creations as a game of tension and balance, interpersonal relationships.

The sculptures of the American are imbued with philosophical discourses on the nature of human existence, obsession with devices. The author tries to convey the need to maintain a balance in everything.
