Handcrafted jewelry is a hobby of Dublin-based artist Gilina Corcoran. Her unusual pendants with ecological overtones are based on natural motives.

In her works, Jilina creates compositions of flowers, leaves and even mushrooms under a layer of epoxy resin. Sometimes even insects can be found in the artist's eco-pendants. But, as a rule, this is a stylization for miniature butterflies, midges or bugs.

In addition to pendants, Jilina "pours" earrings, necklaces and even key rings. But regardless of the type of decoration, eco-products are very elegant and pretentious. Outwardly, they even resemble amber, in which ancient remains of plants or insects are stuck. The only differences are the unnatural origin and the richer "story" inside.

Jilina collects material for her works in the meadows and forests of her homeland on her own. She carefully picks off the plants, dries them, treats them with special compounds and, after laying them in a mold, fills them with epoxy resin. The girl draws a sketch for each decoration.
