Canoo tests the first electric skate car
Canoo has created the first electric racing car with a skateboard platform. The novelty was tested by the famous racer Sarah Price.
For the electric car, a new generation of chassis was used, which is able to support all drives, as well as withstand the thrust of a 500-horsepower motor. It is also equipped with a control system electronics, which helps to customize the steering response and adapts to each rider.
At this stage, the novelty looks like a card. But, according to the developers, the electric skateboard base can be built into bodies of a wide variety of shapes. It can be either a car or a truck.
Sarah Price was invited to test the novelty. She is a famous racer who has participated in motocross and rally competitions on several occasions. She quite often takes part in testing such transport novelties.
The skate car is scheduled to enter the market in 2022. So far, this is only a concept. First, the company plans to release previously tested drones, and then move on to racing cars.
