The graffiti of the Spaniard Miguel Belinchon represents a new trend in the field of wall paintings. He completely abandoned stencils and projections, and uses only aerosol and oil paints.
With his work, Belinchon pays tribute to famous
artists of the last century. But for him he came up with a separate name, which in practice is a mixture of hyperrealism and cubism.
Typically, Miguel depicts portraits of people, existing and non-existent animals. His works are striking in the clarity of lines, deliberate exaggeration and detail. In addition to this, he does not ignore a strange set of imbalances. Despite all possible distortions, elongation and collage, his images are recognizable and distinguishable.
Now the artist has already “moved to a new level”. He not only creates, but also teaches students. Miguel has even managed to create a small school of his followers.
Nevertheless, he continues to develop in the classical direction of painting. His solo exhibitions are held in Spain, France, USA and Mexico.
