A British startup has conducted a test passenger flight on a vehicle that uses hydrogen fuel cells. It lasted almost 20 minutes.

For the test flight, a six-seater commercial aircraft was used, which was modified with a new environmentally friendly transmission. Like similar devices, he performed takeoff, flight and landing. But unlike its “brothers”, this aircraft cannot yet compare with them in flight range and carrying capacity.

According to the director of the company, the future of such aircraft is much closer than previously thought. Along the way, testing of hydrogen cells is being carried out, which are installed on other vehicles - freight and light vehicles.

The flight was part of a related project. As for the financing procedure, it completely fell on the shoulders of the British startup. He also owned the launch of the first electrically powered aircraft.

This test flight shows that passenger planes can indeed fly in an environmentally friendly manner.
