A piece of Africa in the Pierre Frey 2019 collection

Wallpaper collection Pierre Frey for 2019 is dedicated to the folk art of one of the tribes in South Africa. The people of Ndebele, who live in the North of the country, decorate their houses with geometric patterns of different colors. The drawings resemble the works of abstract artists. Similar ornaments are depicted on British Airways aircraft (1997) and BMW cars (1991 and 2006).

Now the patterns are transferred to the Rituel Wallpaper and Tribu fabric. Ocher, red and black colors create interesting rhythms and contrasts.
