The American sculptor Jennifer McCurdy manages to create porcelain vases of an unusual appearance. In her works, she shows the surrounding nature using ceramics.

In vases American women, you can see spirals of sea shells, and weaving of grape vines, and ocean algae. In many ways, this is an echo of the fact that Jennifer McCurdy lives on an island famous for its natural landscapes.

In some pottery, there is a fine line between bulges and concavities, light and shadow. The symmetry and asymmetry of the items, according to the ceramist, demonstrate the development of life.

The sculptor begins his work with a potter's wheel, creating the frame of the future product on it. Then it gradually moves on to cutting and grinding. The final stage is firing at a temperature of 1300 degrees.

All sculptures are minimalist white. Sometimes they are encrusted with gold plates. This adds an inner glow to the products. And due to the pretentious shape, such vases by Jennifer McCurdy vaguely resemble inverted crowns.
