An architecture firm in the Philippines has unveiled a series of self-contained houses resembling sailboats. Such environmentally friendly structures are able to “live” on the energy of the sun and water.

Outwardly, the sailing house is a small structure designed for two people. This is a three-storey house with a living room and two bedrooms on the second and third floors. Due to the peculiarities of the installation of the structure - sandy bottom, the bathroom is on the first floor.

To provide the sail house with energy, solar panels are used, which are installed in the roof. They take the brunt of the load. In addition to it, water generators come under the base of the structure.

According to the project, sailboat houses can be located one by one or form whole blocks that are connected by movable bridges. But, despite such an impromptu association, they remain autonomous. An additional advantage is that such a house can be moved when you change your place of residence.

According to the authors of the project, the future of the planet is precisely behind such decisions.
