Greek designer Yannis Gikas has created a collection of monolithic tables. Each of them was blown out by three master glassblowers.

The created pieces of furniture represent an unspoken union of sophisticated craft techniques and modern design solutions. Outwardly, a completely traditional look was complemented by technology that is atypical for creating furniture.

Here, not only the skill of the glass blowers was important, but also certain parameters of the arrangement of the burners. The required temperature must be maintained on the glass surface so that the tables have a fluid texture at the exit.

First, the legs of future tables were blown out, then the tabletops were formed. After that, the glass furniture cooled down and, accordingly, hardened. The final stage is polishing.

In terms of color, it is even more interesting - the tables are made in amber yellow and gray-green shades. They cast in different colors from different angles.

At this stage, all models are made only for preliminary orders. The designer does not plan to engage in mass production.
