Origami, kirigami and karakuri paper figurines are created by Japanese craftsman Haruki Nakamura. Each of his works is a dynamic product with subtext.

The figurines are based on traditional Japanese techniques working with paper - creating sculptures. But Haruki Nakamura also added mobility to them. Moreover, each of the objects has a double meaning.

For example, pressing on the back of a bloodthirsty crocodile, you can see a whole and unharmed frog in its opened mouth. Squeezing an impromptu multicolored bag - a cat. And if you press the sides of a sheep, then a wolf hides under the mask of an animal.

Japanese paper figures are even capable of performing various tricks. For example, a monkey can do back flips. And the penguin takes on a three-dimensional appearance.

The Japanese master shares the secrets of creating dynamic sculptures from paper on the pages of his books. He also uses training videos along the way.

By combining several different techniques, Haruki Nakamura managed to create a new direction for working with paper.
