Recycling of various metal products is a hobby of a British woman. From them, Barbara Franz creates bizarre figurines with meaning.

For her metal sculptures a woman uses a copper frame. On it, as on a human skeleton, "puts on" all the elements of the future animal or bird. Outwardly, it turns out that the metal figurine is dressed in armor made of scrap metal.

Barbara Franz manages to very harmoniously fit into her works details from old electrical appliances. But before final assembly, they undergo additional cleaning from a layer of rust and grinding to shine.

The British exhibit her work very rarely. As a rule, these are small exhibitions of novice masters of a similar genre. Barbara Franz also enjoys giving her metal animals to children. Indeed, in addition to the unusual appearance, some of them are quite functional. You can play with them.

The recycling craftswoman plans to continue developing her hobby in the near future. She wants to increase the size of her figures and also try new materials.

Moreover, animals and birds are not the only direction that Barbara Franz sees. Lately she has been trying to create mythical creatures. Fortunately, fantasy allows.
