Jewelry featuring famous world landmarks is created by a North Carolina jeweler. Ola Shechtman carves the most memorable landscapes on her rings.
On
small metal ovals iconic elements of the world's most famous capitals come to life. These are the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Sacre Coeur Basilica. The landmarks on the rings are so detailed that it is quite easy to recognize the existing image.
Ola Shekhtman chose this theme because of her love of travel. She was born in Siberia, and then changed several places of residence in Europe. And before settling permanently in North Carolina, the girl traveled to almost all of America.
Subsequently, each ring became a symbol of being in a particular city. Looking at the decoration, Ola Shechtman remembered that she was near the Arc de Triomphe or climbed the Eiffel Tower.
Over time, the girl began to create custom-made jewelry. Many travelers wanted to keep a symbol of their acquaintance with new places as a souvenir. Landmark rings are the best way to do this.
