IKEA will start producing soft toys based on children's drawings

The Swedish company IKEA has launched the production of soft toys created from children's drawings. The designers for the future plush collection are “experts” under the age of 12.

The collection soft toys is represented by six characters. This is a table lamp-rescuer from boredom, a mouse in the form of a ladybug, a globe-man with roller skates, an eggplant machine, a freaky candy and a boring bear.

Each of the six characters looks bright and casual. With the naked eye, you can see that their authors are children. After all, only they tend to generate genuine ideas, which, in their opinion, should save the world.

IKEA has decided to transform this idea. The money raised from the sale of these toys will go to support social projects around the world. And the priority areas will be related to the development of children. Ensuring their psychological comfort in difficult conditions.

The competition for creating toys using children's ideas is a project that has been held for several years. Every year, children aged 0 to 12 years old send their drawings to the competition. This year, more than 71 thousand works were received, of which the judges had to select six.
